-August/September Report-
It’s Sept. 2 and we just finished watching the Labor Day, Springfield mile. Great race… way to go Kenny and Chris !! Terry’s watched all the races that have been available on LIVE I Sports broadcast. He’s enjoyed being able to keep up with the season and who’s doing what… but certainly does miss being there. It’s hard to believe the season is almost over.
It’s been 15 months since the accident and Terry still continues rehab daily. He’s making progress, but still has a lot of work ahead of him. With an injury this traumatic, there are several levels of care: Acute, Sub Acute, Post Acute with extensive therapy that can go on for years. He’s still determined to get back, it’s just going to take more time.
We would like to express our gratitude to MKEG, Mike and Sandra Kidd for the “Terry Poovey Golf Tournament Benefit” in Edmond, Oklahoma. We heard racing was at its best. A great track, a perfect program and a lot of fun. The golf tournament was also a success and we thank all of you who participated.
